At Edelweiss Studios, we offer high-quality dance and performing art classes for children of all abilities. Our classes are beginner-friendly, inclusive and thoughtfully structured to support confidence, coordination, creativity and progression.

Classes are run during the day and after school time making them accessible to all.

Dance styles we offer

Children can train in a variety of styles, enabling them to explore movement while building strong foundations.

  • Ballet - posture, technique, strength and discipline.

  • Tap - rhythm, timing, coordination and musicality.

  • Contemporary - expression, flow and creative movement

  • Acro - balance, strength, flexibility and safe tumbling foundations.

  • Musical theatre - confidence, performance skills and storytelling through dance

  • Creative Movement - early movement, rhythm and body movement.

No previous experience is required.

🌱 Sprouts (Ages 3–4)

A gentle introduction to structured dance through ballet, tap and creative movement.

Children develop:

  • Basic coordination and balance

  • Rhythm and musical awareness

  • Listening skills and classroom confidence

  • A love of movement and routine

Perfect for first-time dancers.

🌸 Blooms (Ages 5–7)

Structured beginner classes in ballet, tap, jazz and creative dance.

Children develop:

  • Strong foundational technique

  • Coordination and flexibility

  • Focus and discipline

  • Confidence performing in a group

Ideal for both beginners and developing dancers.

🌿 Flourish (Ages 8–10)

Progressive training across multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre.

Children develop:

  • Technical strength and control

  • Musicality and performance quality

  • Self-belief and resilience

  • Teamwork and creative expression

Suitable for beginners and those with prior experience.

✨ Grace (Ages 11–13)

Intermediate classes focusing on technique, performance and versatility across styles.

Children develop:

  • Strength, stamina and flexibility

  • Emotional expression through movement

  • Performance confidence

  • Preparation for stage work and showcases

⭐ Elite (Ages 14+)

Advanced training for committed dancers wishing to refine technique and performance skills.

Dancers develop:

  • Advanced technical ability

  • Artistic expression

  • Readiness for showcases, performances and auditions

Creative Dance for SEN Children

We also offer Creative dance sessions designed to support children with additional needs who may benefit from a more flexible, sensory-aware approach before moving into structured classes.

These sessions help children develop:

  • Body awareness and coordination

  • Rhythm and movement confidence

  • Emotional regulation

  • Social interaction

Children are supported to progress at their own pace with the aim of transitioning confidently into structured dance when ready.
